Things aren't really perfect right now, but Blizzard is working on it!
We're continuing to work toward greater realm stability and address the service issues impacting latency. Our current biggest hurdle is the concentration of players in specific areas and zones, and an unexpected effect of that concentration on the realm stability. We're continuing to maintain a lowered realm population cap to help with the stability, which is resulting in increased queue times. We're seeing some increase in individual zones drop which are causing localized player disconnections as we get into primetime in the Americas, and if someone is disconnected they will quite likely run into a queue to log back in. Work is progressing on improving realm stability through fixes targeting individual in-game issues, as well as on the backend game and network services.
In attempts to pinpoint latency related issues we've temporarily lowered the maximum number of people allowed in each realm. This will result in higher queue times as realms who have populations above the cap will not allow any new players in until it decreases back down below the new player cap.

The team had tried to do the movie different ways before, but were never comfortable with how it was working out.
There is a lot of story to cover with Warcraft, so they are starting with Warcraft 1.
The movie will follow heroes on both factions, "50% Alliance, 50% Horde".
Blizzard feels the team has done a great job with the movie and that everyone is in good hands with them.
There is a scene where everything is burning down, Durotan is in his tent with Draka.
The visual effects are very realistic. Motion capture was used, the team worked with ILM to make it feel as much like live action as possible.
Effects are Avatar and Lord of the Rings at the same time.
Very detailed sets were built, such as part of Stormwind's main street.
Camera operator could see the digital Orcs in real time when capturing the footage.
There was training on how to physically act as an Orc.

You might recall that Blizzard "reset" the Titan project back in mid 2013.
The team set out to make another amazing MMO after World of Warcraft, but they didn't find the fun or passion.
Metzen said the decision to cancel Titan was excruciating, but cancelling projects has always resulted in better quality work.
Right now Blizzard doesn't want to spend time working on another MMO.
Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm helped Blizzard realize they don't have to work on giant projects.

With the upcoming Warlords of Draenor pre-patch, we will be releasing sidelined characters names back into the wild.
Any characters that have not logged into the game since November 13, 2008 will have their names freed up, making them available to anyone creating a new character or using the paid Character Name Change service.

With a little over a month to go before Patch 6.0, it is time to take a look at the things you may want to do before it is too late.
Challenge Modes
All of the challenge mode achievements are becoming Legacy and Feat of Strength achievements, with all of the rewards other than the armor sets and teleport spells becoming account wide.
Heirlooms
Heirloom items will cost gold instead of Justice Points once Patch 6.0 is live. The prices are currently 500 to 1500 and another 500 to 1000 to upgrade them. Also keep in mind that the Heirlooms collection tab was delayed.
